Nehal Gandhi has spent over 20 years in the development sector at large – from volunteering to leading operations for nonprofit organizations, offering solutions-based consulting services to hybrid businesses and providing a deep understanding of how the nonprofit community connects across different sectors.
Prior to founding Social Echoes, Nehal gained in-depth experience working with several organizations, including Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Aga Khan Education Services and more recently, the Institute of International Education. Nehal recently joined the Board of Game Genius , a DC-based nonprofit that leverages games to promote social impact.
An alumnus of St. Xavier’s College as well as University of Birmingham , a DFID Scholar and part of AltMBA47, she is passionate about the potential of the nonprofit sector to shape a new generation of philanthropists. Of the many hats she has worn in her life, being a parent of two boys has been a privilege and, in that role, her goal is to nurture them as philanthropic and strong citizens of the world.
